It's my 18 month birthday today!

Uncle Joe brought me a balloon and some Chips Ahoy cookies! I don't usually get cookies for snack but Mom said it was a special occasion. Uncle Joe said he'll give me cookies whenever I want. I love Uncle Joe:)

My New Friend Oliver!

My friend Oliver came over to play with me today. His dad Bob goes to Nursing school with my mom. We hung out and played, he is so fun! Here we are eating dinner together with his mom Kacey. We are going to play together again soon!

Reading with Da

Well Da and I have now progressed in our night time story hour. Da now lets me sit in my Elmo chair on his lap while he sings songs from my Sesame book. Yes. I know. My Da is the absolute best:)

Sledding.

Here is me and my mom with the sled my Gammy got me for Christmas. In this picture we are super excited to hit the slopes. I invited Uncle Joe to come, I figured he knew a thing or two about sledding. We went to the biggest hill we could find at Montrose and Lake Shore. Mom and I thought it was a HUGE hill. Apparently Uncle Joe didn't think so. He pushed mom and I down the hill so hard we went flying! My mom screamed the whole way down and we just held on for dear life. Afterward Uncle Joe said he thought he needed to give us a huge push to get us even half way down the hill. What was he thinking?! Well he scared the pants off mom and I and I was cold and cried and we went home. Maybe I'll try sledding next year but I'm not making any promises.

San Antonio!!!

I went to San Antonio with my Noel family to see my great-randparents and Great-Uncle Will. We had so much fun! It was so nice and warm there, Uncle Joey even helped me tie up my shirt so I could cool off:) I was pretty good on the plane rides. I got to have McDonalds for breakfast and mom and I burned off some energy on the moving walkways. I think we probably went a couple miles, I just loved how fast we could go!

Our hotel in San Antonio was beautiful! We had a balcony that overlooked a courtyard where I could run around with the peacock and pheasants that lived there. That's me waving to Uncle Joe on the balcony. There was a huge carnival going on outside our hotel for New Years so we went out to party a little early. That's me and my Grandpa at the carnival. We ate bbq at this awesome restaurant where it's ok if we are a little messy, my kind of place:)

There was a great Children's Museum in San Antonio and we went on New Year's Eve. They had a Thomas the Train dress up outfit I tried on and they had a New Year's Eve party in the basement. There was a dj and we danced and did the limbo, then we got sparkling grape juice to celebrate the countdown at 12 noon:)

I had so much fun with my Great-Grandparents and Great-Uncle Will, I can't wait to see them again soon!

December 19th, 2009- Brookfield Zoo

My mom, dad, and I went to the Brookfield Zoo the weekend before Christmas. Boy was it cold out! But we still had a good time! I saw camels, bison, wolves, and monkeys. Mom and I rode on a little train. I loved splashing in the puddles and walking through the snow.
